LA GRANGE, IL – A disturbance involving a La Grange postal employee took place outside the post office Monday morning, police said.
About 10 a.m., a witness reported witnessing an argument between a female postal employee and a man, identified as the woman's boyfriend, in the parking lot at the post office, 121 W. Hillgrove Ave., according to a police news release. The woman entered the car being driven by the man and departed, leaving her car in the parking lot, police said. The witness described the incident as a possible abduction.
The employee was later found, and it was determined she was not abducted, police said.
The investigation has been turned over to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, police said.
