FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — When Shakima Landsmark and her son moved into their new home in Fairless Hills four years ago, they were told they integrated the block. Soon, their neighbor Daniel Taylor would begin disputing property lines, insisting on mowing the foot of space in her backyard that connected their properties.
Landsmark told 6ABC that she'd often find Taylor in the backyard — and when she wanted to move, she said Taylor started telling potential buyers and realtors that she was in litigation with the town for water damage. She reported the incidents to the police.
In a separate occasion, across-the-street neighbor Linda-Marie Ann Black yelled racial slurs at Landsmark and her son. Both Black and Taylor were charged with harassment. Taylor denied using the n-word to Action News and said, "Color means nothing to me."
Currently, a judge has sided with Taylor in the property dispute, but Landsmark thinks it's not settled.
