DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A car was burglarized outside a home on Main Street in Downers Grove over the weekend, police say. The vehicle owner told police they left their car unlocked in the 3900 block of Main Street while they were moving boxes into the it around 7:30 p.m. When they got back to their car just after 2 a.m., they noticed someone had rifled through the center console. Police say a Garmin GPS device valued at $150 was stolen during the burglary. Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to call the Downers Grove Police Department at 630-434-5600.
