Description
DEERFIELD, IL — A rollover crash Sunday night left two injured on westbound Interstate 94, according to Illinois State Police.
At around 9:53 p.m., troopers responded to the scene of the two-vehicle crash at milepost 24.5 near Deerfield.
Preliminary investigation revealed one car going westbound on the Interstate came to a complete stop in the righthand lane for unknown reasons. A car behind it was unable to stop in time, causing it to sideswipe the stopped vehicle and roll over, representatives from ISP said.
Officials said both drivers were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The Deerfield Fire Protection District also responded to the incident.
