DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Dakota County officials are planning to bring bison to Spring Lake Park in Hastings by fall of 2022, The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported. This is part of the county's plan to return the park to its natural landscape of oak savanna and prairie, the publication reported. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz signed a $560,000 grant for this project on June 10, the report said.
