Drivers needed to support charity bike ride

What we need from you: • Ability to change a bike tire • Drive a car (with valid license) • Follow GPS directions • Cheer on people and make them happy Bike to the Beach is looking for Special Assistance Group (SAG) drive vehicles to support our annual charity event for Autism and disabilities. The route takes riders from DC and Baltimore all the way to Dewey Beach, DE with rest stops spaced about 15 miles apart all the way to the finish. We are looking for folks who have a good attitude, cheerful demeanor, ability to change bike tires and ability to be an active participate in our event. Although we would like for you to work the event for a minimum of 6 hours, you do not need to work the entire day AND do NOT even need a car. We have cars available and will send you back to our starting line by bus after the event. We also provide all the bike tools and parts that you'll need! We need chase car drivers to help support our riders in any way needed and make sure the ride runs smoothly. This includes but is not limited to: 1. Stopping with riders that may have received flat tires 2. Notifying a ride director if there is something dangerous on or around the route 3. Handing out basic medical supplies like Band-Aids, 4. Driving along with and cheering on groups of struggling riders Reach out if you are interested.
