CORNELIUS, NC — Seven people were arrested this week in Cornelius and now face charges that include communicating threats, kidnapping, assault by strangulation, breaking and entering and resisting an officer, according to the most recent police blotter. A vehicle was stolen this week on One Norman Boulevard and four cases of larceny reported, Cornelius Police Department said. Cornelius police cited six drivers and two boaters for speeding this week, along with one driver for texting while behind the wheel. Cornelius Police Department made the following arrests between July 14 - July 20, 2021: Michael T.
