TUCSON, AZ — The full lineup for January's 2022 Tucson Jazz Festival is out, including Academy Award winner, Jon Batiste, and Grammy Award winning jazz singer, Dianne Reeves. The festival kicks off on Jan. 14, when Dave Stryker and 8 Track play at the Fox Tucson Theatre. The two-week event includes performances by Cyrille Amilee, Adonis Rose and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra's Nojo 7 (Jan. 15); Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin (Jan. 16); the Spanish Harlem Orchestra (Jan. 20); Batiste (Jan. 21) and Reeves (Jan. 23), among others. Also included in the 2022 iteration of the event is the Jazz Jam at Hotel Congress on Jan. 15; the Downtown Tucson Jazz Fiesta on Jan. 17; and an afternoon of jazz at the Rialto Theatre on Jan. 22. The festival, which is in its eighth year of operation, after a COVID-19 related hiatus in 2020 and 2021.
