Press release from Sun Devil Athletics: July 26, 2021 The 2020-21 athletic season was a different one. There weren't many fans. Only one home football game was played. The basketball seasons started late, soccer and volleyball were in the spring. At the end of it all, ASU hosted two NCAA championships for 14 days with free admission. All this happened while the hockey team never played a home game.
