Hello! I recently adopted a spunky, friendly 1 YO Maltese male mix doggo but, unfortunately, will be needing a new home for him. I’ll be moving and he won’t be able to travel with me. Moreover, I’ll be living in an apartment again and this doggo needs a yard to run wild and free in. When I adopted him, his name was Prince. But I’ve been calling him Tye. Pet records listed as Prince, which I obtained from first owners. About Tye/Prince -Energetic -Curious -Playful -Friendly -Good with dogs and cats - it’s a real show with small dogs, he surrenders and allows the littler ones to play alpha; might need a little redirection with cats but not aggressive -Needs an active owner - he jogs and hikes with me and loves it -Enjoys all the car rides and adventures -Bit of a teenage spirit, tests boundaries but learns fast -House broken -Understands “no”, “stay”, and “sit” - you can see his wheels turning, he’s going to learn so much more with time and training -Loves adults and kids, males and females -Sometimes he has a bit of a grumpy tummy, he’s been eating Blue Diamond food and that seems to agree with him -Keeps guard - he will rumble and bark if anyone is coming around -Curly hair, benefits from being brushed weekly -I’ve been working through his matted hair that was a little worse when I adopted him, most has been teased out but there’s a patch remaining on the rump that still needs working through, always an option to buzz cut and start fresh, but I’ve been taking my time with him and helping him to feel comfortable with being brushed all over; skin is very healthy -He will also come with a kennel/crate, 28x20x21 -I have two extra months supply of tick/flea/mosquito medication that will also send him home with -Pet records from original owner will also be released to adoptive parents -If interested, please include a short blurb about yourself, home, lifestyle - want to make sure Tye is going to a happy, dog-loving home -Pictures never hurt to reinforce the good vibes of receiving family -Happy to arrange meet and greet, to ensure adoption is a fit *Adoption fee applies
