Eastridge Workforce Solutions | Construction (619) 881-8020 Responsibilities: General Labor: Sweeping, clean-up, trashing out construction materials like extra lumber and drywall. Assisting trades and supervisor onsite. Entry Level - little experience required. Work typically in an outdoor environment. No use of tools, except maybe a shovel and a broom. Skilled Labor: May be performing work using tools, such as demolition, using a jackhammer, hand tools like hammer, crowbar. Sweeping, clean-up, trashing out construction materials like extra lumber and drywall. Assisting trades and supervisor onsite. Maybe doing furniture assembly, building guard rails, temporary fencing, assisting trades. Maybe certified using a forklift. May use and/or bring basic hand tools (tool belt tools) such as claw hammer, tape, nail puller, pencil, multi-bit screwdriver, adjustable wrench, cordless drill. Apprentice Level Labor: 2 - 4 +years in a specific trade of construction (i.e. carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical), Performs specific trade duties. May use power tools including circular saws, nail guns, compressors and drill. Should have all hand tools, tool belt and basic power tools for specific trade. Requirements: Ability to push, Lift, pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Must be comfortable wearing all PPE required by the worksite.
