LANDSAPE PEST CONTROL APPLICATOR- is a hands-on position with the skills to apply herbicides and pesticides in a accurate and safe manner. RESPONSIBLITIES • Maintain proper environmental and public safety practices • Maintain chemical storage area in a clean and organized manner to include: inventory maintenance, Safety Data Sheets, and necessary personal protection equipment. • Maintain chemical application equipment in good working order • Daily communication with site manager regarding concerns or pest problems • Perform current Integrated Pest Management practices and procedures as stated in company program • Must be able to work with minimal supervision HORTICULTURE • Observe and identify major turf and ornamental pests/formulate safe and effective remedies ACCOUNTANT • Keep current all Pesticide Application Records and site Pest History Reports CAPABILITIES • Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions • Must be able to read and understand standard Pesticide Labeling and perform proper procedures for mixing REQUIREMENTS • Must have a Qualified Applicators Certificate • Ability to pass a background check is required.
