Description

The General Social Survey (GSS), in partnership with NORC, is seeking volunteers to participate in a pre-test of the survey to test and improve the questionnaire length, flow and language. We expect the interview to take about 45-60 minutes. You will be compensated $25. Interviews will take place by phone or Zoom. The General Social Survey (GSS) is a regular, ongoing survey of U.S. households. NORC has been conducting the GSS since 1972. Over the years, we have interviewed more than 50,000 people from across the nation. The GSS covers a wide range of topics, from attitudes about race and guns to experiences in the workplace. The GSS measures trends in American attitudes, experiences, practices, and concerns. Most people find it thought provoking and enjoyable to answer. If you are interested in participating in this survey, please call to schedule an appointment at or send an e-mail at . More information about the GSS and NORC can be found on our website at www.norc.org.
