Rhythm Guitarist & Backup Vocals Looking to Start a Band

I am an intermediate rhythm guitarist and novice singer who wants to start an original band and gig in the Vancouver/Portland area. I don't just want a group to play with, but I want to write original music and create our own Vancouver sound. I'm not interested in starting any kind of cover band. To start we will need Drums and Bass. I am looking for people as committed as myself as well as generally charming characters (Charisma is important). I can record high-quality demos with my amateur home studio. If this interests you please reply with your info or Bandmix account. About myself: I am 21 years old. I have been playing for a long time as a self taught guitarist. I've done small family gigs and talent shows, but nothing major. My biggest influences are major grunge bands like Alice in Chains and Nirvana, 80/90s metal like Megadeth and System of a Down, and I appreciate the skill that goes into modern pop and their writing/vocals. I sing for fun and record my own music to publish to major streaming platforms. I can keep up with most songs on guitar if I have the time to practice, but I do struggle with lead parts. I work a 9-5 job, but also am moderately committed to a project like this, but unless we are working with a label, my work will take priority (not that I won't take time off for important events.)
