Funeral Home Transporter This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. Responsible for the care, removal and transport of human remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures. MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCEENING TEST. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with removals of deceased from hospital, nursing home or residence to transport to funeral home. Must be able to lift and move 100 pounds. May perform removals from prep rooms or embalming facilities as well. Maintains and ensures removal vehicle is clean inside and out and is properly maintained. Performs duties with strict adherence to Edification Policies and Procedures Other duties as assigned. Work hours are 8-12 mornings Monday -Friday. Evening and weekend call required as needed. Paid per call. Must include work history and picture to be considered. Professional appearance a must.
