We provides full-service pet and horse care in the Harvard, Massachusetts area. In home dog and cat care, livestock, horse care and farm calls are available. Looking for individuals with hands on experience working with dogs and other animals and availability for weekends and occasional overnight care.
Our canine client offerings range from walks to all day playdates to overnight lodging. Dogs are safely contained on the property using the DogWatch® Systems invisible fence. We also offer drop-off and pick-up service to and from daycare.
Job Description
-Seeking hardworking, enthusiastic individual to provide excellent care while monitoring groups of dogs on a daily basis.
-Individual is proactive and attentive, interacting with dogs in a calm and playful manner.
-The benefits of working in this environment are forming friendships and bonds with all types of dogs.
-Other opportunities may expand to petsitting and farm care.
-Transporting dogs to and from daycare, clean driving record is required.
-Individual is an excellent communicator and well organized.
Dog Daycare Duties:
-Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention and play among daycare dogs
-Walk the play areas and ensure the dogs are active and playing safely
-Provide engagement and play with dogs in playgroups to ensure they are happy and getting lots of exercise while
watching body language to maintain safe levels of play
-Knowledge of dog behavior is helpful and will train if needed.
-Clean facility as needed to ensure all areas are sanitized
-Provide daily updates to clients
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
