Full-Time Geotechnical Driller (Difficult Access) We specialize in difficult access Geotechnical drilling, offering Hollow Stem Auger, Mud Rotary and Core Drilling services. Driller is responsible for moving, set-up and operating drill rigs and related equipment to each Geotechnical hole, once they are completed the driller then closes up each hole in accordance with state, federal and environmental specs as required. Each Driller has an assigned helper and we normally run 2 man crews unless otherwise specified. We offer paid re-training on our specific equipment and encourage further education for all our employees. Our schedule is 10 on 4 off, as well as rotational in town work, please feel free to email with any questions you may have. Job requirements - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must have a valid Driver's License. - Have a valid Class A CDL, including tanker. - Must be able to travel across state lines regularly. - Must have the ability to bend, twist, and lift at least 75 LBS regularly. - Must have the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment. - Have common sense and the ability to use it. - Be able and willing to do some paperwork. - Be willing to listen and learn from advice given. - Be able to communicate well. - Be able to stand for long periods of time. - Be able and willing to work weekends. - Be able to work as part of a team. - Be able to work in varying outdoor climates. - Be able to occasionally work extended shifts of 12 or more hours. - Be able to work with a flexible schedule, including weekends. - Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Drilling does not always allow for defined scheduled breaks and each job is different. Preferred Qualifications: 40hr. HAZPOWER, 10hr OSHA Construction, MSHA Training.
