I am a 20+ year experienced drummer with some backup vocal ability, looking for a new serious band/project. I have been in a few original and cover bands over the years, with having spent the past 6 years drumming for and managing a successful rock cover band, that has recently come to an end. I am looking to either start OR join; a variety rock cover band, OR a hard rock/nu-metal original band. If cover band: I am open to play just about anything, whatever the venue/crowd calls for, preferably upbeat and rock/party/dance. If original band: I prefer hard rock and heavy or nu-metal. No thrash, punk, or core. I also have experience writing. About me: - I am a solid and versatile player who is no stranger to a metronome and technology. - I have a nice home studio from which I can fully record, build backing tracks, write remotely, and perform a variety of other necessary band functions which I have experience in beyond just drumming. (ie. recording, production, marketing, graphic design, merch design, promotion, etc.) - I believe in creating a SHOW, dressing the part, and working hard to have a solid stage performance and product to put forth. - I am not looking to tour or gig every weekend, but will travel for the right shows and want to perform fairly regularly. I also have no desire for weekly band practices, as I believe practice is done on your own time and occasional or "as needed" rehearsals are to glue everything together and build the stage show. - I have a family and full-time profession, I am responsible and reliable, have pro gear, no drama, no politics, no ego, no substance issues, and I have a strong work ethic.
