My name is Jeff Egerton. I'm the author of Into the Wild Blue Yonder, the most comprehensive book ever written about the history of the US airlines. My current work in progress (untitled) is a book about the history of all of the major airports in this country. I'm currently researching the history of Love Field/DFW Regional Airport. Naturally, there is no one around who witnessed the beginnings of Love Field in 1917, but if anyone has any yarns, stories, or anecdotes about the building of DFW, I'd like to hear them.
