Violet is a three and a half year old gray tabby cat I rescued from south Dallas when she was about 4 weeks old. I had chickens at the time and needed a mouser. The chickens have been long gone and Violet moved inside... Originally I was keeping her outdoors and in my garage bc I did not want to have a litter box. She is house trained and litter box trained. She waits at the door to go outside just like a dog, but will use a litter box too. She gets along with my dog but because I travel more now and I can't have a litter box in my house, she doesn't fit my lifestyle. She's sweet, sassy and hilarious, but I know she would do better with someone else. I've actually never been a cat person but have grown to love her. I just think it would be best if she found someone who wanted to keep her inside full time or had some land. She loves to be outside but I know cats don't always last with coyotes and hawks on the prowl. She has all her shots and I can provide records. I don't necessarily need a rehoming fee but I want to know she will find a home with someone who will take good care of her.
