As a premier owner and manager of residential properties, PLK Communities specializes in the acquisition, redevelopment, and management of high quality apartment communities. Currently, we are in search of a Part-Time Groundskeeper for our Duveneck community located in Covington, KY. This is a part-time position paying $13.00/hour. Exact schedule and hours are to be determined, but Fridays and weekend availability is preferred.  Responsibilities and Duties The Groundskeeper is to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community for thebenefit of all residents, visitors, and staff: Perform any and all grounds keeping needs Responsible for grounds and amenity areas - upkeep in clean and operable condition Report maintenance or grounds issues to manager Pick up trash and debris on property, parking lot and around dumpster areas Tag cars that need to be towed Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment Assist in removing abandoned furniture, appliances etc. Change light bulbs in ALL common areas Help identify and correct unsafe conditions Snow removal and laying salt when needed Assist in diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance or repair when needed Special projects as assigned Qualifications and Skills Groundskeeper experience a plus Comfortable working outside in ALL conditions Maintenance or "handyman" experience Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience a plus Able to lift or move up to 50lbs Good written and oral communications Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Tools (hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multi meter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight) Able to pass a background check and drug screen Benefit Summary Paid company events Paid community volunteering Referral bonus CLICK HERE TO APPLY:
