Assistant Cultivation Technician **This Job is Located in Rye Colorado off exit 64, down a dirt road** ** You must have MED Badge to work** A Cultivation Technician Assistant is responsible with guidance from the Cultivation Technician for cannabis plant care in all stages of growth not limited to but including germination, propagation, vegetative stages, flowering and harvest. Cultivation Technician Responsibilities: • Clone, transplant, water, fertilize, prune, trellis, defoliate, inspect for pathogens, identify toxicities and deficiencies, top, bud, and low stress train cannabis plants. • Cleaning or sterilizing all associated equipment used in the cultivation process as well as the grow rooms, transplant, wash, and general storage areas. • Observe and report information to the supervisory team about plant growth, pathogens, and environmental disturbances. • Maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards and in acceptable condition for best practices with the plants. • Harvest and trim flowering plants. • Check and water all plants in the cultivation facility as outlined in the Daily Room-Checklist. Cultivation Technician Requirements: • High school diploma or GED. • A valid marijuana worker's permit or license. • Outstanding organizational skills. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict management. • Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills. • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally.
