Description
Hi there,
I took in 2 foster lovebirds last August and they are finally ready to be adopted out. While they have come a long way in the short time that we have had them, they still need a little work (who doesn’t right?) I am looking to adopt them to someone who has bird experience because these guys are bonded and require some extra attention.
I don’t know their real ages, but think they’re about 9-10 and they typically live up to 15 years old.
The green one is a male and the yellow one is possibly a female. We named them Kiwi (male) and Banana (female)-they do NOT know their names so they can be changed.
Kiwi was self mutilating when we got him-he isn’t anymore and hasn’t for a while now. He is scared of the world but comes out of his shell when he thinks no one is watching him. (He’s super cute).
Banana is Kiwis safety net-the HAVE to stay together or Kiwi will likely die (I know that sounds extreme but it’s the reality of how birds work)
These guys are very special and I will only rehome to a home that is bird experienced-I will have an interview process and there will be a small rehoming fee of $100 (that includes the cage and current toys and perches that you will be getting along with the birds). I am happy to provide more information upon request-serious inquiries only.
