Job Title: Delivery Driver This person is responsible to safely operate our vehicle to deliver and pickup orders on time, and ensure that all items arrive in timely manner. We service restaurants and event venues: professionalism, thoughtful customer service, and attention to detail are a must. TASKS OF THIS POSITION: 1. Using the prepared route, load the vehicle correctly, ensuring all items for every order are loaded. 2. Drop-off orders at specified locations, giving attention to any special requests or delivery times. Pickup orders at locations after events, or from businesses every week. Use individual pick lists to accurately load and unload at each stop. 3. Tag and label items brought back to our business locations. 4. Safely operate vehicle, following all speed limits and traffic laws. SKILLS NEEDED: 1. Has a valid drivers license without accidents and can follow GPS. 2. Is able to follow verbal and written directions; speak and read English. 3. Physically able to lift 50 lbs (Bags of returned linens are heavy.) 4. Can count accurately, is comfortable reading numbers on an order. 5. Attentive to details. 6. Friendly, with excellent customer-service skills. This person is the face of our company. They should enjoy meeting customers and giving quality service. This job will sometimes be repetitive (going to the same places every week) and sometimes will involve new locations that need to be found and navigated for new drop-offs and deliveries. SCHEDULE: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Monday and Thurs as needed. Start time is typically 7am to 8:30pm, depending on route and other parameters. Routes are 4 to 8 hours. No evenings or weekends.
