ole and Responsibilities 1. Assist the Nursery Coordinator and/or assigned volunteers in caring for infants and toddlers during weekly Sunday morning worship and special services or events. 2. Adhere to the UCT Safe Church Policy and any procedures established to protect children from abuse. 3. Help organize and maintain the Nursery, as needed. Make sure all equipment is functional, supplies are stored, and that the area is childproofed. 4. Supervise the infants and toddlers in the Nursery during regular and special service events, notifying parents/caretakers promptly of any issues related to the health and safety of their child(ren). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Experience in meeting the physical and emotional needs of infants and toddlers. 2. Skill in performing basic childcare activities such as changing diapers, feeding (per parental instruction), and engaging children in play. 3. Ability to work with others.
