Smoking Goose is an award-winning smokehouse in downtown Indianapolis, handcrafting over 40 varieties of slow cured and smoked meats for nationwide distribution. Three positions are open in the Packaging Department, and work includes
- portioning, packaging, and labeling Smoking Goose’s bacon, sausages, salumi, and more: some light equipment can be used but most of the work is done by hand as part of a team
- some heavy lifting and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment is required
- must demonstrate attention to detail and an eye for consistency and quality
- experience is not required and on-the-job training is provided
