***Since I've honestly had it with people's poor communication and their being flaky, PLEASE don't reach out until you've read this entire ad. If you don't hear back from me, that's because I'll know you didn't read it, as well as, like I once heard someone say: "Do not blame me when you didn't read."*** Hello there! On behalf of my two co-lead singers, I'm posting this ad in search of our lead guitarist, bass guitarist, pianist/organist, and drummer/multi-percussionist, all who are preferably between the ages of 21 and late-twenties, as well as love to go wild onstage when it comes to stage presence, dancing, aesthetics [outfits, jewelry, etc.] -- all that awesome-sauce stuff!! :) Personally, I've been fully vaccinated and am itching to start a jam band with some fun-loving folks. Also personally, I admit that even though I've sung live in the past, have a very good ear, and can write a song in under 10 minutes, I still don't know a whole lot about recording and music theory yet. That's been tough for me to wrap my head around. But that's why we don't care what your level of experience is as long as you're serious about music but also want to have tons of laughs and fun. Speaking of being serious, though, please don't reach out if you: 1. Are flaky when it comes to communication, commitment, networking, and staying on top of emails and messages. We don't want people anymore who say they're reliable, but then we can't get any jam sessions going because of their lack of input. So please, don't waste our time. 2. Want us to call or text you [I know this might be an unorthodox request but I do find it obnoxious of people to request calling or texting. Email is my preferred correspondence.]. 3. Want to confine yourself to one or two genres. 4. Feel like you need to get drunk and/or high before performing. We promise we don't care if you do that offstage though ;) ~ ~ We would love to jam with you. Although we share a common interest in genres such as boogie rock, dance rock, pop rock, soft rock, soul, and smooth jazz, we are open to any suggestions you have for genres and songs. Speaking of songs, until more live music opens back up, we really think it'd be good for us all to start with covers, just so we can form an idea of what our sound as a band would eventually be. That said, please send us a list of 4-5 of your favorite cover songs to work on :) I really really am sorry to be rude but please don’t reach out to us just to say you want us all to just work on original stuff instead of covers to start. Keep holding up strong as the world reopens from wacky times, fellas. We look forward to hearing from you...and then rockin'!! :)
