Loblolly, a private country club in Hobe Sound, FL is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. Candidate should be an enthusiastic hard worker who has strong knowledge of a variety of handyman trades and tasks and the ability to communicate effectively with other team members, residents and vendors. The Maintenance Technician will help to maintain the Club facilities and surrounding area by performing minor and routine painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical wiring, small motor repair, HVAC functions (prior experience helpful) and other related maintenance activities using hand tools. Moderate carpentry work will also be required. Prior experience with work order programs and within private residential settings preferred.The position has to work effectively on their own and as part of a team. Weekend and holiday hours as well as overtime during busy periods is required.Reporting to our Director of Facilities, this position is full time, year round and available immediately. Competitive hourly wage based on experience plus medical/dental benefits, personal/holiday and vacation time and participation in a 401k program is also available after a probationary period.
