**APPLY HERE We are currently hiring for a full-time maintenance position at Tyler Athletic and Swim Club! We are seeking an individual that is available Mornings and Evenings and we offer flexible hours and days. All team members are eligible for our 401k with a match and supplemental insurance. Performs daily tennis court maintenance duties along with repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, grounds and other areas as required. Essential Duties: Basic maintenance of courts which includes routine brushing, lining, and watering. Also includes cleaning/filling fountains & water jugs, two steppers and sitting benches/tables. Ability to learn to fine tune court surfaces with regards to water and climate, when to use appropriate tools, repairing lines, nets & fences. Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans, sweeping/blowing walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture. Knowledge of preferred repair skills may require basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical i.e. replacing broken water lines, fence repairs, light fixtures, toilets, locks, doors etc. Able to utilize problem solving skills for unexpected tasks and problems that may arise such as the ones above. Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed. Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to learn how to clean and maintain a commercial pool. Ability to learn how to maintain an artificial turf field. Provide daily cleaning for all of the operation including but not limited to: offices public spaces, drinking fountains and restroom facilities Perform light cleaning and heaving cleaning including but not limited to: window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, emptying of trash cans Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed Incorporates safe work practices in job performance Regular and reliable attendance Performs other duties as required Qualifications Education/Experience: Less than high school education; or one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination education and experience. Physical Demands: Frequently stands, walks and sits. Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and hears. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Environment/Noise: Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: None Required Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
