Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Concrete Foreman Specific duties include: • Demo and repour concrete. All types of flatwork, curbing, gutters, etc.… • Achieving proper grade and elevation using transit level • Operating small equipment such as skid steer, backhoe, power trowel, etc.… • Conducting manual labor. • Using hand tools: ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools. • Equipment cleanup and maintenance • Organization of inventory. • Assisting in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices. • Performing other duties as required. Qualifications: • A minimum of 2 years concrete experience • Current Driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Passing of background check and drug screening (required) • Must have strong work ethic • Ability to work in a team setting • Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner AT ALL TIMES. • Commitment to a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. • Ability to lift and carry loads within limits set by OSHA regulations • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency • Willingness to communicate and learn basic job competencies. • A professional sense of discipline, composure and resourcefulness • Proficiency with driving commercial vehicles • Ability to use heavy equipment • Complete understanding of the concrete process • CDL license is helpful but not required Job Type: Full-time Experience: • Concrete ALL Type (Sidewalks, Driveways, Curbing, etc.…) : 5 years (Required) • Clean Driving Record: (Required) Full benefits package will be offered • We are a DRUG FREE work place – EOE – E Verify Competitive pay based on Experience
