Hi, We are a group of people in the process of starting an community garage in Knoxville, TN. We see that access to reliable transportation is hard to come by, and often too expensive for many of us. Our goal is fix people’s cars for no charge on labor, and help those who are interested in learning auto-mechanic to skills gain the skills they need to work on their own vehicles. We will be holding auto repair events as pop-ups until we can get our own space for a garage. And that’s where you come in! We’re looking for either a building that we can renovate to make our own, or land that we can build one on. If you know anyone who is sitting on property, that doesn’t want anything to do with it, send them our way! We’d love to take it off their hands and turn it into something that can work in the benefit of all.
