Above Ground Pool Repair - LID

I have a Watercoo Above Ground Pool. My filter (SEE SCAN"S) has a lid that is leaking. I had someone look at it last fall and he said I had to lubricate bottom of lid and have it totally in the filter. I tried to get in touch with him a month ago with NO LUCK. Its a small job for NOT for me. Paying $50.00 for the quick fix but MUST fix it. See scan's so u know exactly what I am talking about. See Lid - that's the problem. Cartridge filter is the easiest. But LID is the problem
