Ice Maker Expert Needed

I need someone who really knows what they're doing when it comes to ice makers inside of refrigerator freezer combos. I think I need to buy a new "Single Outlet Water Valve" or "Water Fill Cup and Bearing" or both but I am not sure. I need consultation before the job gets started so I know exactly what's causing this problem. The old ice maker wasn't making ice so we replaced it with a brand new one and it's doing good except it's creating giant chunks of ice as well as ice cubes. You can see me in the picture holding one of the giant chunks of ice. It's at least 15 years old except for the brand new ice maker inside of it which works great minus the giant chunks of ice.
