We are looking for a dedicated part-time employee for the care and management of our stock 5 days a week. We are a very easy-going environment where after your initial training period you will be able to do most of your work on your own. At this time, we are not open to the public and when we are it will be only by appointment with a maximum of 2 people per appointment (and no children allowed) so you will never have to deal with crowds or kids. Your day-to-day tasks will be the feeding of fish, changing water on the fish as needed, preparing boxes for shipping fish, general sweeping, unpacking fish, bringing trash to the dumpster, photoing fish, and eventually prepping fish for shipment and packing them. You will need to be able to kneel, bend, use a step stool, lift up to 50 lbs, and reach over your head to do this job. Your pay will start at $10 an hour, we will evaluate your performance every 3 months and a raise is guaranteed up to a maximum of $15 an hour as long as you meet easy performance standards. You will pick which 5 days you work and what hours on those days when you are hired so you can fit the job around your life If you need to change the days and hours later it is easy to do and we are very understanding if family emergencies crop up that require you to take off early, come in late, or come in a different day then scheduled. If you fish your tasks for the day early you are free to go home early if you wish. Pay is every two weeks. Max is 30 hours per week at this time. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who can easily keep themselves on task, ideally experience with DSLR cameras would be a major plus. Looking for immediate hire.
