This beginner-friendly workshop will teach you basic strokes of modern calligraphy, the lowercase alphabet, fall phrases, and more! This workshop was created with beginners in mind. No prior lettering or calligraphy experience is necessary. In this workshop you'll receive 3 hours of personal, hands-on instruction that will teach you how to: Properly hold and use a brush penCreate basic calligraphy strokes Use those strokes to form lettersConnect letters to create words and phrasesAdd personal style using bounce lettering and flourishingUse guidelines for consistency You will also receive a take-home supply kit that includes: A 20-page guided workbook, including: the basic strokes practice sheet, uppercase and lowercase alphabet templates, a faux-calligraphy template, words & phrases practice sheets, and guidelines. 2 calligraphy brush pens 1 monoline penA variety of lettering papersOther lettering necessities: a pencil, eraser, paperclips, etc.A personalized name cardThis workshop will take place in the beautiful space of Real Meals Kitchens. The kitchen will be open with a variety of smoothies, snacks, and drinks students can purchase to enjoy while learning calligraphy. To allow for personal instruction, one-on-one guidance, and plenty of working space, this workshop is limited to a total of 15 attendees. Due to the personalized nature of this workshop, there are no refunds. However, you can transfer your ticket to a future event or another person.
