Vendor Registration Central Ohio Afro Fest WELCOME! Click to apply. This is an event that is focused on uplifting the Central Ohio community and igniting the African and Afro spirit of unity. Event will be held at the Outdoor Venue at Phenix Banquet Center. The fest will be held entirely outdoors and will hold rain or shine. All vendors/crafters/exhibitors/food trucks must be completely self sufficient. Please bring all needed items; such as chairs, tables, power, water. Set up 3PM-4:30PM Set up closes promptly at 4:45PM Safety is always a priority. We thank you in advance for adhering to all safety recommendations from CDC , state and local government. You will have food trucks with delicious menu available to you. You will have a bar with bottled water, pop, beer, wine and cocktails available to you for purchase. Absolutely NO outside food or drinks permitted. THE MARKETCRAFTERS/VENDORS Acceptance into the Fest will be sent via email. In the event that you are not accepted; a full refund will be issued. This is the only time a refund will be issued.COAF organizers reserve the right to reject any applications as they deemAllow 10 business days to process your applicationThe event will hold rain or shine. Any tent used must be enclosed in the assigned space.Vendor booth locations will be assigned at the discretion of the organizers of the event.Vendor booth displays shall not extend into the aisles, including all signs, banners, equipment, etc. All concessions must be confined to booth spaceNo sharing of booths. All vendors must register for their own boothVendors are responsible for abiding by all state and federal tax laws and collecting the applicable Ohio state sales tax for each transaction. Trash must be placed in the provided trash bags and placed in trash dumpster at the end of the eventIndemnification: You agree to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Phenix Banquet Center, Phenix Holdings, the Owner and their respective employees and agents against all claims.Arbitration: You agree that any dispute in any way arising out of or relating to this contract will be resolved by arbitration in the city of Columbus and State of Ohio. You agree to legally abide with the decisions from arbitration.You expressly give Phenix the right to take promotional photographs and video and use on social media platforms. Email to [email protected] Food vendors are responsible for ensuring that they meet all health inspections requirements Food trucks/Food carts CANNOT sell or give away ANY beverages, bottled or otherwise. This includes frozen ice or frozen drinks of any kind. Any violators will be shut down. Vendors must supply their own tents/canopies, tables and chairs. Vendors will provide 3 meal vouchers to be used by our volunteers. These will be collected right after arrival for set up Legible menu with full prices must be displayed. Food and beverage vendors must provide a public trash can for their patrons Vendors are responsible for trash pick up and disposal. All trash must be placed in the provided trash dumpster at the end of the event Liability Insurance: You must carry and maintain a policy of general liability with minimum amount of coverage of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000), per occurrence, on account of bodily injury and/or death of one person and/or on account of damage to property. This policy will be for your benefit and Phenix Banquet Center, Phenix Holdings, Inc., its Board of Directors, its officers, agents and employees. Policy must show Phenix Banquet Center, 2101 Noe Bixby Road Columbus Oh 43232; as an added insured. Proof of current liability insurance coverage emailed no later than 10 days prior to event. Indemnification: You agree to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Phenix Banquet Center, Phenix Holdings, the Owner and their respective employees and agents against all claims. Arbitration: You agree that any dispute in any way arising out of or relating to this contract will be resolved by arbitration in the city of Columbus and state of Ohio. Bags must be smaller than: 16”x16”x8” Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles Large Umbrellas (personal sized are okay) Pets Animals Drones or hover cameras Weapons of ANY kind Fireworks/explosives. Illegal Substances. Alcohol. Tobacco/smoking products of any kind (including e-cigs, vape, etc.) No illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized vendors allowed.
