This youth violence prevention pop up event will bring various Denver communities together for a bike ride and community event. On behalf of The Power Of One and the Park Hill Strong Community Partners, we are cordially inviting you to participate in The Power Of One Ride, Saturday August 21st, 2021 9:00am - 4:00pm. This event is a community bike ride and pop up event established through the City of Denver's efforts to prevent youth violence.  This bike ride and pop up event highlight our coordinated efforts to bring these communities together and demonstrate The Power of One. This event will be co-planned and co-implemented with other organizations around the Denver Metro area to coordinate a bike ride from Skyland Park in Park Hill, and the West Bar Val Wood Park in South West Denver in collaboration with Montbello, Green Valley Ranch, Five Points, Swansea, Southwest Denver and other neighboring communities.  Participants will bike from Skyland Park 3380 Holly St. Denver, CO 80207 and West Bar Val Wood Park 2001 W. Cedar Ave, Denver, CO 80223 riding to Commons Park 2101 15th St, Denver, CO 80202  for the pop-up event. There will be food, music, fun and community resource tables, games for the kids and much more. We’ve intentionally selected these communities because they’ve been impacted by the long standing violence. Our target demographic is youth ages 6-24, their families and community members so pass the information on to all.
