Looking to work with a private landlord

We are a small family of three and were looking to move sometime fairly soon. We both have lower credit but are actively building it up. I have an eviction on my record from when I was on a lease with my parents, they were evicted when I moved out. I’m in very good standings with my current landlord and previous landlord and can put you in contact for a referance and we’d be more than happy to provide a co-signer. We do have a dog who is utd on his shots, house/kennel trained. We being in about $5,000 monthly and have budgeted ourself to $1000. We looking for at least a two bedroom and would be more than willing to lease long term. Any where within the Saint Louis or Jefferson County area would be great. If anyone has anything or knows of anyone please let me know!
