Join us for our Annual Wayzgoose Celebration on Sunday, August 8, 2021 – Bookbinding @ 1:00 – 25th Project @ 2:00 - Pot-Luck at 4:3O Virginia Center for the Book: Annual Wayzgoose CelebrationYou're invited to a FREE community event featuring a case-binding project/demonstration, a show-n-tell preview of our 25th-anniversary exhibit, followed by the gathering of our members and friends for the renewal of our ANNUAL Wayzgoose Potluck Social. Known as Wayzgoose, the event is a traditional annual end-of-summer gathering for printers, binders, and book artists. Schedule of events: 1-3:30 PM – Drop-in visits for case-binding demonstrations 3:30 PM – 25th-anniversary project show-n-tell 4:30 PM – Members potluck with Pearl Island barbecue and tofu curry main dishes (Members are encouraged to bring side dishes and desserts) All are welcome! The Wayzgoose Celebration, although free registration is required to attend.
