Looking for keys and lead vocals for rock/jam band

Description
Hi everyone! My name's Craig - I'm a sax/guitar/flute player and songwriter living in SE Portland. I'm starting a rock band that's going to focus on danceable music with positive lyrics, lots of variety and lots of jamming. It's going to be a big band that will be able to do 3 or 4 part vocal harmonies, dual guitar leads, and live horn parts. The songs I write are mostly classic rock, jam band, funk, and reggae, but I like to mix in a lot of different styles including jazz, folk, Latin, pop and hip hop. My personal influences (to name only a few) include Bob Marley, James Brown, Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, and Tom Petty. We'll probably do about a 50/50 mix of originals and covers. There are 4 of us currently: myself, a bass player, a drummer, and a guitar player. We are looking for keys and lead vocals. The ideal lead singer would be someone with a powerful voice and a straight-forward rock/soul style. I would prefer to have a female lead singer who can do stuff along the lines of Aretha Franklin or Etta James, but I'm open to considering the right male singer. We're looking for folks who are versatile, creative, and have a positive attitude. We especially want to have a band where everyone can have fun and enjoy each other's company. I'm taking the lead on this project, but it's going to be a collaborative working environment - including song arrangement and the choice of cover songs. This is going to be a serious, working band, so please have gig-worthy gear, your own transportation, and be prepared to practice at least one evening per week and work on the material between practices. Once we get going, I want to be gigging at least once a month and work into playing venues like the Crystal Ballroom. Also, while I'm by no means expecting everyone to be clean and sober, folks who are heavy drinkers or heavy drug users are not going to be a good fit. If you're interested in this project, please send me a link (or links) to some audio/video of your playing/singing. Here's a link to my Soundcloud page if you want to check out demos of some of the original songs we'll be playing: https://soundcloud.com/user-877146260 Lead vocals are not my strong point, so when you listen to the demos, please remember that we're looking for a lead singer. Thanks! Craig
