Assistant herds person needed on 240-cow dairy milking with 4 Lely robots. Must be detail oriented, enjoy working with animals, be able to work independently and interested in learning new skills/technology. Hours are M-F noon until 6 p.m. and alternate weekends and holidays. Valid drivers license required. Duties include herd health, calf care, servicing robots and routine barn chores. This is a job with room for advancement. Starting salary is $16 per hour. Associates degree/experience in agriculture preferred but attitude is more important than experience.
