THUNDER AND LIGHTENING:
12min running clock
For Time and Weight:
0-5:00
800m Run (Scaled: 400m Run)
5:00-12:00
7min to establish:
1RM Clean
(Power or squat, NO HANG)
At 3..2..1..go, the athletes will begin their two 400 m laps. They will have five minutes to complete their 800 m run. If the athlete makes it in before the five minutes, they may rest until the start of the 1RM clean . If the athlete takes longer than five minutes to complete their 800 m run that will shorten the time they have to establish a 1RM clean.
Athletes will load their own bar, but are not permitted to touch the bar until the clock has reached the five minute mark.
