Join us for a week of cooking, eating, gardening, and more! Jr. chefs will learn to make delicious meals from locally grown food. Your young chef is invited to enjoy five days of chopping, slicing, measuring and stirring to create yummy dishes with professional chefs and skilled volunteers. In this delcious camp, your child will learn to make signature dishes that are take advantage of the farms, fields, pastures and water of our beautiful community. With "signature dishes", each camper gets to make their own, so even if you have a picky eater, we put them in charge of their plate! Your child will come home excited about preparing nutritious, delicious, and affordable meals made from real food. Each day they will work with a small group to prepare a meal and then sit down to enjoy it together "Family Style" as a community to eat and learn more about each other. You can choose FULL DAY (9:00-3:00) or HALF DAY (9:00-12:30). Both options include snack and lunch. This camp is for K-3rd graders. We teach children and their families how to prepare delicious, nutritious, affordable meals made from real food.
