Get the basics on how to use the tools in our Wood Shop in this introductory class! Work on a simple project and pick up the necessary skills to work with our equipment safely. Attendees will build a cheeseboard that they will go home with!

Table SawMiter SawPlanerBelt and Disc SanderFinish NailersDrill PressRequired gear: All clothing should be non-synthetic (cotton or canvas is recommended), Long pants, long or short sleeve shirt, boots or other closed toe shoes, hair-tie for long hair, safety glasses and hearing protection. We recommend you bring your own safety gear, but we have equipment on hand if you don’t have any.

Attendees who are not yet vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to wear a mask and social distance.
