Due to divorce and other changes in life circumstances, we need to find a new home for our female Great Weimar, named Akela. She is 2 years old. Chipped. Fully vaccinated. Spayed. I've needed to do this for awhile, but it is hard to rehome a pet who is so integral to our family. She is an athletic dog who loves human company. She gets anxiety if she does not have enough interaction/proximity to her owner. She loves playing with other dogs. She is a large breed. Slightly larger than a typical Weimaraner but not as large as a Great Dane. She needs a home where she will be treated like a family member. Her need for attention and proximity to her owners is significant. She does well playing with children, but her favorite attention comes from older people. If you can meet her needs, you will love her dearly. She is such a good doggie when her anxiety is not agitated and she gets sufficient exercise and love. She is house trained. She knows a handful of commands. Rehoming fee will apply.
