The Head Wraps in the Park Festival, the brainchild of Fatima Dodson, a local business owner in Los Angeles, has created a safe space for women to celebrate wearing head wraps. Filled with food, fun, fellowship, head wrap tutorials and the celebration of African culture and beauty the event hopes to create an environment that fosters creativity, celebrates individuality, and encourages community.
