Coronavirus is a reality we are all adjusting to. As a precaution, we are asking that you do not participate if you have any signs of being sick, have been sick, or around someone who has been sick in the last 21 days. Most HiKers lead healthier lifestyles, but doing so doesn’t make us immune from carrying the virus to others who may be more at risk. The good thing is, being outdoors offers us the opportunity to reconnect with nature, while affording us room to satisfy personal space protocols for safety. We are asking that you forego the usual HiKing-with-Friends hugging and hand shakes with one an other. And refrain from sharing food or drink with anyone outside your household. For the foreseeable future, and until our current health crisis is over, we will turn anyone away that appears sick.
