Featured at the conference are three dynamic speakers who have each selected a pair of Biblical woman in the book "The Women of the Bible Speak." Each speaker will take you on a journey directly into the lives of women in the Bible, and more specifically, into their hearts through their own voices, emotions, and interactions. They will remind you that God has valued women as part of His plan of salvation, even to bear the Savior of the world. Our speaker line up includes: Lynette Gamez - Lynette is a successful (semi-retired) business woman, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is a very inspirational Christian motivational speaker who inspires people through her story of finding hope through Jesus. Her message is to think bigger, do bigger, be bigger, and believe bolder. Naomi Martinez Cox - Naomi is an enthusiastic and passionate Bible teacher and Spirit-led speaker whose ministry through True Life Ministry has spanned the globe. God uses her message to draw the believer to a personal and intimate relationship with God. It has been said, "her messages challenge the believer and attract the seeker." Barbara Hass - Barbara is a wife, mom, and grandma first. She is the co-pastor of Joy Church and a paralegal by trade. It is a privilege for her to help believers know the truths of Scripture intellectually and encouraging them to experience these truths practically by the power of the Holy Spirit. Live praise and worship will be presented by Heidi Chavez and Brenda Garnas. Heidi Chavez - Heidi is a a wife and mother of four beautiful children. She has been the worship leader to a number of churches in the Bakersfield area, and is currently the worship leader of Joy Church. She is a Holy Spirit filled psalmist, gospel music writer, and all around gifted worship leader. Brenda Garnas - Brenda is a member of the Joy Church worship team. She has served on the Sweet Adalines International singing group for over 30 years where she has earned multiple awards. She accompanies the worship leader vocally and plays the base guitar. She is a wife, mother, and grandma. A delicious lunch will be served, which will include: * Entree: Chicken salad on croissant * Salad: Mandarin orange mixed green salad * Side Dish: Celery sticks with peanut butter and/or cream cheese * Dessert: Cup cake * Beverage: Crystal light lemonade and/or water A welcome bag will be given to each person at registration. Gifts will be given away randomly during interaction with the speakers. Child care is not provided. The cost is $20.00/person if purchased BEFORE September 11, 2021. AFTER September 11, 2021, the cost increases to $25.00/person. Seating is limited to 65, so get your tickets early!
