Come meet, picnic, and explore the beautiful grounds of the NC Museum of Art. WWE North Carolina - NCMA Picnic & Walk Location: NCMA - 2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607 Dates/Times of Event: 08/21/2021 1pm- 4pm ** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified and are not guides. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.** Come meet at the North Carolina Museum of Art for a meet and greet picnic with one of your new ambassadors, while meeting friends and fellow Women Who Explore members. This will be my first event as an ambassador for Women Who Explore, so I thought I'd create a relaxed event where we can get to know one another better, and have an oppurtunity for some exploration. The NCMA offers just that. The plan is to meet and picnic, chat a bit, and follow that up with a walk on the beautiful trails at the museum. Important Information for Attendees: We will meet at the picni area of the grounds. I've included a map link of the grounds for anyone who may not be famililar. It's easiest to access the picnic area from the P1 parking area. Link of map : https://ncartmuseum.org/visit/museum-park/ Individuals will be responsible for bringing their own food for the picnic and water. A picnic blacket or chair is also advised. The park also has a Picnic in the Park service through cateringworks.com. If you are interested in ordering a basket prior to the event date please do so in advance in accordance with Catering Works. A link to their services can be found on the Museum's website.
