Description
Hey everyone! So I have a VERY handsome 6 month(D.O.B 1/20/21) old Dalmatian/Heeler mix. I got home from a very sweet lady on Craiglist who had an accidental litter. His name is Maverick and I got him in April right after ending a very toxic relationship. I was told he would not be a dog who cuddles, or follows you, or stays to close to you. BOY, was she WRONG! Maverick LOVES being around me 24/7. He is VERY loving and loves to meet people, and dogs. I have a 9 year old cat. She absolutely hates him but he doesn't care he still loves to follow her, and kiss her, and try to play with her; much to her disappointment. Maverick is a very healthy puppy at 40 pounds. He is Up to Date on EVERY shot and is not due for any new shots until October or November I believe. He is on a puppy plan with Banfield Animal Hospital. He is getting fixed on Wednesday, August 18th. Maverick is currently in a 3 week intensive boarding school program and will not be back until August 14th With that being said I am taking my TIME finding him the PERFECT home Maverick has very bad separation from me. I quit a job so I only had one job and can spend all my time with him, it still doesn't work and he cries, barks, and whines as soon as I leave at 5am every morning. Even though he is a registered service animal I am still sadly getting complaints about him. There is a good chance if I do not find him the perfect home he will stay with me, for I do not want him in the wrong hands. He needs a home where someone is home all the time, or pretty close to it. Maverick was born on a farm and is currently being trained on a farm. I think he would do fantastic on a farm with a lot of space to run. Or just with someone who is constantly active with him. For the most part he is completely house trained. He has not had an accident in the house in a month! Mostly, if your not home for more than 6 months he might pee on the floor but he does very well in holding it. He was never have an accident in the house while you are home unless he is sick. Dalmatians and Heelers are both very active dogs. He is not just for anyone so please do your research before you message me. He is not aggressive at all. I'll play fight with him and he'll lick but doesn't bite. He doesn't snap or bite. He doesn't chew. About a month ago he started biting my couch cushions. He doesn't eat shoes. He'll steal your socks, pants, shirts, and towels while your in the shower or not looking just so he can hold him. He is not food aggressive but boy he can eat and he loves treats. He is teething and since I am a Chef I buy him bones so he always has a bone to chew, hence why he isn't destructive when it comes to chewing. His biggest problems are jumping and pulling, outside of course. I am afraid he will toppel over a small child because he is just so strong but with his new training this should not be an issue. He is an all around love bug. Even though he gets overly excited everyone loves him. His dog walker says he LOVES being trained and loves obedience which he just getting the hang of. Now, to be honest I am not ready to let go of Maverick just yet. Yes, he is in school for 3 weeks but I WILL take my time in finding him a terrific home. So this will not be one of those puppies where you pickup tomorrow. I will be doing interviews and really screening to find him that perfect home. Maverick will not go to just anyone. I paid $600 for him. His training cost me $1,700. He comes with: A HUGE Crate, a BIG Dog Bed, 2 Water Bowls, 2 Food Bowls, 2 Harnesses, 2 Leashes, 2 Collars, a Calming Collar, 2 Blankets, a Hiking Water Bowl, A Poop Bag Holder with a lot of Rolls of Poop Bags, Probiotics, Puppy CBD, Relaxing Water Drops, Adaphil Calming Diffuser and Refill, Puppy Shampoo, 2 Brushes, a bunch of sprays for Mosquitos for the Texas summers, Lip, Paw, Skin balms for dry areas, Food(Dry and Wet), A bunch of treats, a Huge Basket of Toys, Bones, Stuffed Animals, Balls, Squeaky Toys, and a BUNCH of Bones. Both from Chewy as well as whatever bones I have left in my freezer for him. As you cans see I have provided well for him and he is not going to be cheap. I am asking two thousand. This also does not include all his doctors, monthly Flea/Tick Treatments, Heartworm, and all his puppy visits. Lets get to know each other first and message me with as many questions as you'd like. Again, I will only let him go to a spectacular and perfect home. Thank you so much for reading all about my puppy Maverick. If you can provide him with a perfect forever home please send me an email and let me know about yourself. Have an amazing day.
